Hunter breed on both sides of the pedigree. Dam is Iliad's Spring, by Hasty Spring, and of course his sire is Hennessey. Both sides of his pedigree date back to Dark Ronald. Dam is in the family of the famous Gem Twist. Hercules deserves his name. He stood within 5 minutes of is arrival and was running in the stall within 15 minutes. Since birth he has had substantial bone, size, confirmation and strength. His is, by far, the largest colt we have had by Spring. He was 46 inches tall at birth. Hercules has been shown lightly, just for some experience, on the line in Hunter Breeding in 2008 and 2009. At the Warrenton Horse Show he recieved a highly respectable 4th in Non TB Yearling colts. He is truely spectacular. He currently stands at 16.3 hands. He was started under saddle in March 2009 and is campaining toward the 2 year old under saddle at the International Hunter Futrity. Rockwood By Hennessey, out of Rainbow Sky, by Rainbow E' A 2009 Stallion Prospect Registered RPSI and Branded IHF Nominated Lifetime USEF Registered He Rode in on the "Ides of March", Rockwood, the son of Hennessey and Rainbow Sky. He is our long awaited, highly bred, decendent of Consul and Dark Ronald, along with many other notables. His mother is my "special" show horse and fox hunt mount and she has excelled at anything that she has ever done. She has been a Champion Hunter, she has been High Point Rheinland in Dressage, and she has proven herself a top competiter in Eventing. As of late, she was the mount of our Huntsman, Kurk Kuckie of Tennessee Valley Hunt, while filling in for an injured horse. He has a "jaw droping" trot, and that super floating canter. He is highly people oriented and very bold. I can not wait to ride him. He will be started in late Feburary. Currently not being marketed; however, serious inquiries from seasoned owners and "top" trainers will be considered.
