Rockwood

2009 Colt
by Hennessey, out of Rainbow Sky, by Rainbow E
IHF Nominated
Lifetime USEF Registered

The colt Rockwood is truely something.  He is very correct and reminds one a lot of his Grand Sire and Great Grand Sire Consul, the Thoroughbred Stallion, approved by the Trakehner Verband, who stood by Herburtus Pole.
He is very brave and intelligent.

Training Notes:
Leading, standing in wash stall alone.  Clips without any medication or twitch.  Loads and travels great.  Settles in nicely at new facilities.

Nice, very quiet colt.  Should mature to follow in his sire and grandsires footsteps, and become a solid 3'6" horse.  Of course we are preping him for IHF and USHJA Incentive fund Classes.  Only offered for sale until we have 3 remaining at the farm in his age group, after that he remains with Broad Hill Run Farm until his training is more advanced.

A truely stunning and correct filly.  She has a hack winning trot and, of course, the wonderful Hennessey jump.  Her mother brings Irish TB breeding to the Trakehners, which makes a great combination.  This combination is one of our favorites.  She will begin training undersaddle in late March.  Look for her at the International Hunter Futurity.  She is offered for sale.

Hercules H

2007 colt   Registered and Branded RPSI with Passport
A/O, Comformation, Equitation, and Working Hunter to International Hunter Derby Prospect

This colt will do it all!  Hunter breed on both sides of the pedigree.  Dam is Iliad's Spring, by Hasty Spring, and of course his sire is Hennessey.
Both sides of his pedigree date back to Dark Ronald.  Dam is in the family of the famous Gem Twist.
Hercules deserves his name. He stood within 5 minutes of is arrival and was running in the stall within 15 minutes. Since birth he has had substantial bone, size, confirmation and strength. His is, by far, the largest colt we have had by Spring. He was 46 inches tall at birth.
Hercules has been shown lightly, just for some experience, on the line in Hunter Breeding in 2008 and 2009.  At the Warrenton Horse Show he recieved a highly respectable 4th in Non TB Yearling colts.  He is truely spectacular.  He currently stands at 16.3 hands.
He was started under saddle in March 2009 and is campaining toward the 2 year old under saddle at the International Hunter Futrity.

Training Notes:
He is going very nicely.  He hacks out on trails alone or in company.  He is covering the ring nicely and going into corners.  He can hack in large company or small.  He continues to remain quite and focused on is work.
